CAT (Common Admission Test)
- Conducted by IIMs
- Eligibility: 50% in Graduation for General and 45% for Reserved.Final year students can also apply.
- Exam Pattern: CAT is an online exam.
It has 3 sections –
- Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension
- Quantitative Ability and
- Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning.
- Total of 100 questions with a time limit of 3 hours.
MAT (Management Aptitude Test)
- Conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA).
- Eligibility: Any Graduate can apply.
- Exam Pattern: Both Computer-based and Paper-based test.
It has 5 sections –
- Language Comprehension
- Intelligence and Critical Reasoning
- Data Analysis and Sufficiency
- Mathematical Skills and
- Indian and Global Environment
Totally 200 questions with a time limit of 150 minutes.
XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test)
- Conducted by Xavier School Of Management.
- Eligibility: Candidates with any bachelor degree and Final Yearstudents can also apply.
- Exam Pattern: XAT is an online computer based test.

Part-2

Totally the exam consists of 99 questions with the time duration of 3
hours
CMAT (Common Management Admission Test)
- Conducted by AICTE
- Eligibility: 50% in Graduation for General and 45% for Reserved.Final year students can also apply.Exam Pattern: It’s an online computer based test of three hours duration with 5 sections.

- General Awareness
TANCET (Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test)
- It is conducted by Anna University.
- Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks for Generalcategory and 45 % for OBC and 40% for SC/ST students.
- Exam Pattern: It is a pen-paper test. The duration of the exam is 120 minutes.
- It’s divided in four sections and a total of 100 questions.
